Thank you for visiting my website. My name is Tracey Taylor and I have been trained specifically as a funeral celebrant.
My wish is for you to have the service you want – to say goodbye your way. At such a crucial and highly emotionally charged time in your life choosing the right celebrant is an important decision and it is essential that you have every confidence and trust in me. You need to feel comfortable sharing memories and your loved one with me so that, together, we can create something special that is a fitting and memorable farewell and one that you can feel proud of. I will be there for you at every step and treat you with dignity, compassion and respect. I will go above and beyond to ensure your loved one is remembered and celebrated as you, and they, would wish.
I have recognised qualifications in counselling and bereavement as well as in end of life therapy and pet bereavement. I have had a varied career in media, PR, events and fundraising with some 30 years spent working in the charity sector and in service to others, including nearly seven years with the City of London Police. This background has given me extensive experience of creative writing, public speaking, team working and managing, or being a part of, large events from air shows to the London 2012 Olympic Games. As well as being a Member of both the Chartered Institute of Public Relations and the Good Funeral Guild, I am also a qualified Reiki Master and a Freeman of the City of London, a recognition awarded to people who have achieved success, recognition or celebrity in their chosen field.
A desire to help others, especially at some of the darkest times of their lives, has always been part of who I am and, in the challenging year of 2020, I realised my true calling. I trained as a funeral celebrant with Terri Shanks, Founder of the Fellowship of Professional Celebrants and am proud to be a member of this amazing, compassionate and professional body who insist on the highest standards of integrity and service from their celebrants.
I am fully insured with an up-to-date DBS check. Although I am based in Hertfordshire, I cover Hertfordshire, Cambridgeshire, Bedfordshire, South Suffolk and will travel further if needed. Whether you have made contact with your chosen funeral director or not, please do not hesitate to get in touch with me. You can do this via the contact form.
“Love is stronger than death, even though it can’t stop death from happening. But no matter how hard death tries, it can’t separate people from love. It can’t take away our memories either. In the end, life is stronger than death.”

About the Fellowship of Professional Celebrants
Your Voice. Your Choice. Your Ceremony
The Fellowship of Professional Celebrants (FPC) was officially founded by Terri Shanks in January 2011. Terri had already, by this time, been training both funeral and marriage celebrants for more than 3 years. Her vision was to provide ongoing structure, support and networking for those she had trained within a safe, ethical and friendly environment.
The foundations of the FPC lay not only in our high standards but in those core values and ethics which stand firmly at the centre of our organisation today.
The FPC Promise to You
All of our celebrants are trained to write bespoke and personalised ceremonies for every person, couple or family whom we serve. We never train or encourage any celebrant to use pre-written templates for services and our ethos is very much that every person is unique and therefore every ceremony should be unique.
Any member of the public or professional who engages with us, such as Funeral Directors and Wedding Planners, can be assured that in choosing an FPC Celebrant, they are choosing someone who has been professionally trained to an exceptionally high standard. They are choosing someone who is fully certified and has no criminal convictions; providing total peace of mind in an un-regulated profession.
Whatever type of ceremony you are in the process of arranging .. we know you will find the perfect person to deliver the perfect ceremony.
